제목 Characteristic of rigid polyurethane foam prepared from the recycled polyol based on foam scraps of refrigerators
초록 Foam scraps of refrigerators being generated in appliance recycling center were recycled into the polyol for rigid polyurethane (PU) foam. The recycled polyol is too viscosity and very reactive compared with conventional polyols for rigid PU foams. Effects of hydroxybenzene sulfonic acid solution (HBSA) to neutralize the tertiary amine in the recycled polyol were studied in this study. It was found that the viscosity of the recycled polyol shows the minimum and the reactivity of the polyol was lowered with increasing the HBSA content. Effects of HBSA on the physical properties of the rigid PU foam based on the recycled polyol were investigated to optimize the application of the recycled polyol.
