제목 Optical and Mechanical Properties of Transparent Polymeric Films for Flexible Displays
초록 Two types of transparent polyimides (TpPIs) consisting of either 2,2'-bis(trifluoromethyl)-[1,1'-biphenyl]-4,4'-diamine (TFDB)/3,3',4,4'-biphenyltetracarboxylic dianhydride (BPDA)/4,4'-(hexafluoroisopropylidene)diphthalic anhydride (6FDA)/terephthaloyl chloride (TPCl)/2-(4-aminophenyl)-1H-benzoxazole-5-amine (6ABO) or TFDB/BPDA/6FDA/biphenyl dicarbonyl chloride (BPCl) are prepared and studied in terms of the  structure-properties relationship. Since 6ABO is highly rigid, TpPIs with 6ABO exhibit higher mechanical properties than those without 6ABO while the former maintain good optical properties compared with the latter. When BPCl is introduced to TpPIs, the resulting TpPIs intrinsically have both amide and rigid groups and they also show show higher mechanical properties than TpPIs having no BPCl, while TpPIs with BPCl also show good optical properties compared with those without BPCl. TpPIs prepared in this study can be used for the flexible diplays due to their excellent properties.
