Nanostructured inorganic materials have been widely studied in recent years for the optoelectronic applications such as hybrid solar cells. For the high efficiency in photovoltaic devices, controlling p-n junction interfaces is very important. In this study, we employed block copolymer templates to fabricate TiO2 nanostructured electrodes with the sol-gel method. The perpendicular lamellar structure of diblock copolymers were generated on the SAM-treated TiO2/ITO substrate. After selective removal of one of the blocks, we obtained the polymer nanotemplates, which allowed the fabrication of TiO2 nanoelectrodes by the sol-gel process. Furthermore, by changing the molecular weight of block copolymers, we could control the structure of polymer templates and TiO2 nanoelectrodes as well. These nanostructured TiO2 were applicable for inverted hybrid solar cells with ordered bulk heterojunction structures. |
