Effect of supercritical fluid on graphene layers |

The graphene is expected to be applied in various electronic devices. There are two different ways in preparing graphene on the substrate. One is top-down method and the other is bottom-up method. For its application especially in electricity and electronics area, the former is in need of controlling or reducing defects evolved during the oxidation-reduction process and the latter also controlling defects and the number of layers of graphene during CVD process. In this study, multi-layered graphene synthesized from CVD was treated by supercritical fluids. The result expected is that graphene on the substrate can be exfoliated or swollen without any chemical modification. Thermal vibrational mode and electrical properties of the graphene layers will be analyzed using Raman spectroscopy. |
