제목 Hierarchical Nanoneedle Arrays of Carbon Dots Conjugated NiCo2O4 /NF as an Efficient Bifunctional Electrocatalyst for Hydrogen Evolution Reaction and Oxygen Evolution Reaction
초록 Here, we have grown the nanoneedle arrays of carbon dot (CD) conjugated NiCo2O4 on nickel foam by using the hydrothermal self‐assembly to construct a binder free electrode with bifunctional electrocatalytic activity for both HER and OER in alkaline medium. The results showed a low overpotential of 146 mV at a current density of 10 mA cm−2 for HER and 390 mV at a current density of 50 mA cm−2 for OER in 1.0 M KOH with excellent durability. The CD offers abundant active sites into the CD/NiCo2O4 catalyst resulting in enhanced electron transfer processes within the hierarchical structured components. The work represents a lucrative method for the fabrication of bifunctional electrocatalysts with high efficiency and exceptional stability.
