제목 A study on interface properties of carbon fiber/phenol composite for EDM electrode
초록 In this study, In order to produce the EDM(electrical discharge machining) electrode study was carried out interfacial properties between the carbon fibers and the phenol resin. Analyzing the properties of carbon fiber and a binder, and an interfacial adhesion was measured by using SEO(Sessile drop method) method to determine the impact on the interface properties between the carbon fiber and binder. Although substantially using a phenol resin for the interfacial adhesion strength measurement, difficult to drop-let was compared using an epoxy resin. Through a micro-bond test method, one of the test methods in order to further analyze the IFSS(Interfacial shear strength) measure the interfacial bonding strength of carbon fiber. Finally, The TGA(Thermogravimetric analysis) method was measured to determine an appropriate carbonization temperature for composite materials of a carbon fiber with a phenol resin.
