Preparation and characteristics of photoreactive starch derivative for protein immobilization |

In this work, water-soluble and photoreactive starch derivative was prepared for immobilization of various protein. water-soluble starch that prepared by acid hydrolysis was synthesized to photoreactive starch derivative having azido group via carboxymethylation. The synthesized starch derivative was analyzed by FT-IR, 1H NMR and UV spectroscopy. The synthesized starch derivative is non-cytotoxic and solidified rapidly by UV light. Becaused of degree of immobilization in water and biocompatibility, starch derivative with azido group considered that suitable with protein immobilization material. |
