Recently fluorescent and magnetic bifunctional nano composites have attracted many attentions especially for bio-labeling, a target therapy, and drug delivery. In this study, we prepared nanofibers containing CdSe/ZnS core shell QDs and Fe3O4 magnetic pariticles using electrospinning process. CdSe/ZnS QDs have been prepared from CdO, Zinc acetate and Sulfur by thermal decomposition method and showed photoluminescence emission peak at 578nm with excitation at 466nm. QDs and Fe3O4 were dispersed in poly(vinyl alcohol) (PVA) and QDs/Fe3O4/PVA Polymer composites were dissolved. |
