제목 Dispersion of boron nitride nanotube in surface modified cellulose nanofibril matrix : effects of surface modification
초록 As the most abundant biopolymer on earth, cellulose has recently attracted attention in various fields due to biodegradability, recyclability, adjustable aspect ratio, and excellent mechanical properties.  Cellulose undergoes mechanical/chemical/biological treatments to turn into cellulose nanofibril (CNF). The large number of hydroxyl groups on the CNF surface are advantageous for functionalization with various functional groups and grafting with various materials such as organic/inorganic materials, metal nanoparticles etc. Boron nitride nanotube (BNNT) as an emerging material with a structure similar to carbon nanotube (CNT) is an insulator having excellent thermal conductivity. In this study, CNF was surface-modified with various functional groups which make a strong interaction with BNNT, resulting in good dispersion. Thermal and electrical properties of the flexible BNNT-CNF composite will be presented.
