제목 Synthesis and surface active properties of novel hybrid anionic surfactants having a short fluorocarbon and a hydrocarbon chain
초록 Perfluorinated surfactants such as perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and its derivatives have been used in many industrial field but it is reported they pose potential adverse effects for the environment and human health. Fluorinated surfactants are also limited to use for hydrocarbon oil because of their low solubility. In order to avoid these problems, we have been studied the novel hybrid anionic fluorinated surfactants with a short fluorocarbon and a hydrocarbon chain. They were synthesized by the condensation reaction of perfluoro-alcohol and alkyl glycidyl ether followed by sulfation with chlorosulfonic acid and neutralization with NaOH. The structure of products was characterized by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR, FT-IR, and HR-MS. The surface active properties and emulsion stability of the synthesized surfactants were measured.
