Interfacial tension between conjugate phases in a binary Maxwellian polymer mixture |

In a binary polymer mixture, conjugate phase forms at binodal. Each conjugate phase is homogeneous with each mixed composition. While the composition gradient may be observed in the interfacial region. In the previous study [Lee and Kim, Macromolecules, 2005], we have shown that the mixed composition of each of the bulk phases affects the interfacial, significantly, by utilizing the hybrid rheological approach. In this presentation, we are to show the availability of the hybrid rheological approach for the study of interfacial tension of a binary Maxwellian polymer mixture at binodal. |
