제목 Surface modification characteristics of Copper Phthalocyanine for Color Filter
초록 The color filter is known as essential components of the liquid crystal display (LCD) for color representation, which is consists of the red, green and blue pigment resulting from mill-base. Among these, the color properties of Cu-Phthalocyanine mainly have used as blue pigment. The copper phthalocyanine exhibit various properties depending on crystalline structure. When blue expression is required, epsilon crystal form can be used. This epsilon crystal exhibit copper phthalocyanine in the manufacturing process has a disadvantage decreasing color characteristics of the color filter by pigment aggregation. Coating of the rosin modified phenolic resin interfere with the agglomeration so that it is possible to improve dispersion stability and then color coordinates and definition can be developed in that pigment dispersion is a important factor to increase the color strength. The morphology, size distribution and crystal structure of prepared blue pigments were observed by scanning electron microscope (SEM), particle size analysis (PSA).
