제목 A selective functionalization of polyester surfaces by an ion implantation for biomolecules immobilization
초록 In this research, we report on a simple and efficient functionalization method of a polyester surface by ion irradiation for a biomolecule immobilization. Polyester films were implanted by energetic ions through a pattern mask to form carboxylic acid on the surface. Afterward, biomolecules such as protein, DNA, and cell were immobilized on an implanted area of the polyester surface possessing carboxylic acid groups. FT-IR spectroscopy, contact angle measurement and fluorescence microscopy confirmed the generation of carboxylic acid groups on the implanted polyester surface and the covalent immobilization of the biomolecules on the implanted region.
