제목 Synthesis of Aliphatic Polycarbonate by CO2/Epoxide Copolymerization Using Double Metal Cyanide Catalyst
초록 Copolymerization of cyclohexene oxide with carbon dioxide and polyols initiated by soybean oil/castor oil/palm oil have been carried out using double metal cyanide (DMC) catalyst. Polyol was synthesized by ring opening polymerization of propylene oxide using plant oil as a macro initiator by using DMC catalyst. The physical and mechanical properties resulting of polycarbonates were characterized by gel permeation chromatography, universal testing machine, thermogravimetric analysis, differential scanning calorimetry and various spectroscopic techniques. Polycarbonate polymerization initiated by soybean oil polyol was showed good mechanical properties and decreased glass transition temperature compared to the others such as castor oil and palm oil polyol
