A new series of copolymer containing theinyl substituted benzodithiophene (BDT-T) and mono-or di-fluorinated quinoxaline (Qx) for polymer solar cells synthesized by Stille coupling reaction. These polymers could dissolved in typical type of organic solvent such as benzene derivative(chlorobenzene, o-dichlorobenzene). The thermal stability of these polymers was analyzed by TGA figure showed that decomposition temperature (Td) at 5% weight loss of these polymer was over 340’C. The optical properties of polymers were showed λmax at 560~620nm in CB solution. In film state, the absorption spectrum was red-shifted by about 5 to 10 nm. PBDTT-FQx shows enhanced shoulder peak in film state. A highest molecular orbital (HOMO) energy level showed its value in the range of -5.24~-5.45 eV. Egopt range of 1.84~1.89. In summary, The polymer PBDTT-DT-FQx PCE of 5.95% with a Voc of 0.74V, a Jsc of 11.76 mA/cm3, and a FF of 0.68% |
