The thermal stability of small pored, ETS-4 is very low. Therefore, ion exchanged by divalent cations(Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+ etc) in order to increase thermal stability. To investigate the adsorption characteristics, CO2-TPD and single point adsorption experiment were conducted for various divalent cation exchanged ETS-4s pretreated at different temperatures. The results indicate that the adsorption properties of various ETS-4s were quite different, depending on pretreatment temperature. It is attributed to the degree of dehydration of the adsorption sites, in particular, M-CO2. |
