Titanium silicate molecular sieve,ETS-10 was successfully synthesized and ion exchanged by divalent cations such as Ca2+, Sr2+, Ba2+ etc. Since large pored ETS-10 ehibits very high framework chage density associated with octahedrally coordinated Ti in framework, this large pore molecular sieve, ETS-10 was adopted as adsorbent for the adsorption of CO2.XRD, ICP-AS and BET analyses were conducted to identify Phase change upon ion excahnge, % ion exchange rate and BET surface area.A single point adsorption capacity was measured using gravimetric method and the adsorption behavior upon ion exchange by divalent cations was discussed. |
