제목 | Synthesis and Characterization of a Fluorinated Polyimide with Pendant NLO Chromophore |
초록 | Tremendous efforts have been put to enhance the thermal stabilities and the second harmonic generation (SHG) coefficients of NLO polymers. We used a fluorinated polyimide, P(6FDA), with pendant groups containing triphenylamine chromophore. The backbone is a well-known polymer with high thermal stability. In order to enhance the poing efficiency, an acceptor group with high free volume was attached to one end of the triphenylamine pendant. The SHG coefficient and electro-optic coefficient of the polymer were investigated under various conditions, such as variety of poling voltages and temperatures. The thermal stability of these coefficients was also investigated at various temperatures. |
