제목 | A Study on the Photocatalytic Degradation of an Endocrine Disruptor DDT |
초록 | The aim of this study was to investigate the degradation of DDT, one of the endocrine disruptor chemicals, in aqueous solution by means of the TiO2/UV system. The photocatalyst, TiO2, used in this study was prepared by a modified sol-gel method and immobilized on the outside surface of a pyrex tube by a dip-coating method. Comparison study was also done with a commercial one, P-25, and whole experiments were done in a batch-type reactor. The destruction degree of DDT was evaluated and by-products identified by gas chromatography with an electron capture detector (GC ECD) and a mass spectro-scopy detector (GC MS). |
