Preparation of high elastic polyurethanes based on Polycarbonate diol, bis(2-hydroxyethyl)isosorbide, 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate and their biocompatible properties |
초록 |
In this stady bis(2-hydroxyethyl)isosorbide (BHIS) was prepared from isosorbide and ethylene carbonate in the presence of K2CO3. The successful synthesis of BHIS was confirmed by 1H nuclear magnetic resonance (1H NMR) and gas chromatograph-mass spectrometer (GC-MS). Bio-based high elastic polyurethanes (PUs) were prepared with fixed 1,6-hexamethylene diisocyanate and varying ratios of BHIS and polycaprolactone diol via a simple one-shot polymerization without a catalyst. The thermal and mechanical properties were characterized by thermogravimetric analyzer (TGA), differential scanning calorimetry (DSC), and universal testing machine (UTM). Degradation and biocompatibility of PUs were tested using C2C12 for biomedical applications. |
