Effect of CO2 Activation of Exfoliated Graphite Oxides for Hydrogen Storage at Room Temperature |

In this work, we have prepared activated exfoliated graphite oxides (AEGO) as a function of CO2 activation temperature for hydrogen storage. The features and morphologies of engineered three dimensional AEGO were observed SEM measurements. The microcrystalline characteristics were studied XRD. The textural properties were analyzed by vapor sorption isotherms. The hydrogen storage behaviors were evaluated by volumetric method at 298 K and 100 bar. From the results, it was found that the creation of new gaps in graphitic layers of AEGO might be affected in enhancing the hydrogen storage behaviors. |
