제목 Side Chain Engineering Effects of Polymer Semiconductors
초록 Solution-processible organic field-effect transistors (OFETs) have attracted much interest in recent years because of their potential applications to lightweight, low-cost flexible electronic devices and their integrated circuits. Side chain engineering can significantly enhance the charge carrier mobility of p-type, n-type, and ambipolar conjugated polymers. We designed and synthesized donor-acceptor (D-A) type copolymer to sysmatically explore the possibility of the odd-even effect on the polymer semiconductor system. The electrical performance of these polymers is clearly dependent on the length of the spacer group and shows the odd–even alterations in chemical and electronic properties induced by the different alkyl chain spacers.
