Hydrogen peroxide(H2O2) cause to oxidative stress, which leads to harmful effect on the biological and environmental. For sensitive detection of H2O2, many protein-stabilized gold nanoclusters(protein-AuNCs) have been developed. However, it is difficult to measure the low concentration of H2O2 that existed in the marine environment. To overcome this limitation, we develop enzyme-ball functionalized gold nanocluster(EB-AuNC). The EB-AuNC can detect low concentration of H2O2 up to 0.5 nM due to their continuous tow-step fluorescence quenching mechanism and proximity of two protein-AuNC. Furthermore, EB-AuNC can be easily applied to detect H2O2, using a glass-based microfluidic device. Overall, the proposed sensing system provides an easy and sensitive detection tool. |
