Portable ion mobility spectrometry (IMS) devices are widely used in many countries for national security. The main purpose of this devices is confirmation and detection of the CWA(chemical warfare agents) such as Sarin, VX, HD and phosgene. From the 1970s, united states and british insitutes have developed IMS devices and systemized the devices in late 2000s. ROK army also developed the IMS device which is based on Ni63 ionizer source. We evaluated that US, USA and ROK systemized IMS devices in various conditions for HD and mixed agent. |
