초록 In this study, we are trying to introduce cross-links into POE/LDPE blends to improve properties such as melt viscosity and blowing ratio by simple addition of varying content dicumyl peroxide(DCP) in the internal mixer. In order to investigate the effect of DCP content on thermal property of different POE/LDPE blends composition, and POE/LDPE blend were characterized by MFI. The melt flow index decreased with the addition of DCP as branched or crosslinked by radical coupling reaction. Also, the differential scanning calorimetry was used to study the thermal properties of POE/LDPE blend with different DCP loadings. The result can be found values of Tm, Tc, △Hm, all decrease when DCP content is increased. It may be attributed to a distortion in the crystal structure resulting from the increase in the crosslink density and acted as chain defect.
