In this study, in order to prepare for global warming and many environmental problems, which are a problem due to the recent increase in fossil fuel use, we tried to reduce carbon dioxide to other fuels by using photocatalyst, an eco-friendly technology that uses solar energy. . D-glucose monomer is used to make a D-glucose polymer hollow frame, and NiO particles are stably grown on it by hydrothermal method to create a hollow NiO surface. The D-glucose frame is removed through heat treatment to make hollow NiO (h-NiO-NiS). And finally, oxygen ions of NiO and S ions of sulfur powder are exchanged to obtain a hollow NiO-NiS catalyst. Compared to nanoparticles (n-NiO-NiS), the surface area of the finished hollow catalyst was improved by more than 10 times, and as a result, the CO2 photocatalyst conversion performance was about 7 times greater in the hollow catalyst than in the nano-sized catalyst. This was confirmed through GC. |
