In this work, we prepared hyper-branched polyimides from triamine monomer (2,4,6-triaminopyrimidine, TAP) and dianhydride monomers ( 3,3',4,4'-benzophenonetetracarboxylic dianhydride (BTDA), 4,4'-oxydiphthalic dianhydride (ODPA), and 4,4'-biphthalic dianhydride (BPDA)) by condensation polymerization. The structural properties of hyper-branched polyimides were characterized by FT-IR and 1H NMR spectroscopy. The molecular weights of the synthesized hyper-branched polyimides were measured by GPC. The glass transition temperature (Tg) and thermal stability of the hyper-branched polyimides were investigated by TMA and TGA, respectively. Consequently, it was found that the hyper-branched polyimides obtained showed various thermal properties, resulting from the chemical structures with different dianhydrides. |
