Preparation and Effect of Herbal Honey Cream for Atopic Dermatitis Therapy |

In this study, we invested the effect of herbal honey cream(HHC) on the development of atopic dermatitis treatment by using NC/Nga mice induced by 1-chloro-2,4-dinitro-benzene(DNCB). The scores of skin symptoms level and scratching behavior and the level of WBC, neutrophil, eosinophil were decreased after treatment with HHC compared with drug control group. These results suggest that the HHC maybe an alternative substance for the management of atopic dermatitis. This study was supported by IPET(Korea Institute of planning & Evaluation for Technology in Food, Agriculture, Forestry & Fisheries) Research Fund in 2009. |
