제목 Effects of blend composition on the physical properties and crystallization behavior of aliphatic polyketone terpolymer and nylon 6 blends
초록 Nowadays Aliphatic polyketone terpolymer of ethylene, propylene, and carbon monoxide (PK) attracts much attention of polymer engineers because of desirable physical properties. Among the PK blends, PK/nylon6 (NY6) blend finds a wide range of applications. PK and NY6 blends were prepared by melt mixing, and their physical properties and crystallization behavior were investigated. The PK/NY6 blends exhibited partial miscibility. In the blends, the glass transition temperatures of PK and NY6 were shifted inward from those of the neat components. The crystallization temperature of the PK/NY6 blends was increased with the increasing NY6 content. In addition, the results of isothermal crystallization analysis revealed that NY6 imparted the nucleating effect to PK. The impact strength of PK was greatly increased with the increasing NY6 content.
