제목 | Synthesis and Photovoltaic studies of New Semiconducting Copolymers for Bulk Heterojunction Polymer Solar Cells |
초록 | Donor–acceptor conjugated copolymers based on benzothiadiazole(BT), and carbazole(Cz) functional units were investigated for high-performance low bandgap polymer solar cells. A monomer consisting of benzothiadiazole as an electron-withdrawing group and carbazole as a spacer backbone was designed and the energy level was modulated by introducing suitable donor units. The synthesized monomers were polymerized by typical Suzuki-coupling reactions. Their chemical structures were confirmed by 1H-NMR, 13C-NMR and Gel permeation chromatography (GPC). Also, the electrochemical properties were estimated from UV-vis spectroscopy, cyclic voltammetry(CV), and photoluminescence(PL). The polymer solar cell devices were fabricated by solution processing and their photovoltaic properties were investigated by IPCE and PCE. |
