제목 | Plasma electrochemistry: rational design and synthesis of nanoparticles as a scale-up process |
초록 | Metal nanoparticles (NPs) have attracted a great deal of interest for their unique optical and catalytic properties. These novel materials are normally prepared in solution as colloids by chemically reducing metal salts in the presence of a stabilizer (i.e. surfactant). Recently, we have developed a green chemical approach based on plasma electrochemical reduction (PER). Here, we present plasma electrochemical approach to control the properties. We initially prepared an aqueous solution including AgNO3 and carried out PER (single-step process). In order to control, we tuned concentration of AgNO3, current of microplasma, and temperature. As the results, the formed Ag nanoparticle has less polydispersed under low concentration of AgNO3, low current and low temperature. In addition, we developed multi-step process of plasma electrochemical reduction to grow Ag nanoparticles. Finally, we will also present for AC plasma electrochemistry in this talk. |
