Secondary functionalized polylefins were compared with maleic anhydride grafted polypropylenes(MAPP). Here, the secondary functionalized MAPP were prepared by esterification between succinic anhydride moiety of MAPP and 2,2,6,6-tetramethyl-4-piperidinol, and the resulting polymeric HALS had the weight-average molecular weight of 40,000. Casting films based on the polymeric HALS were prepared with thickness of 30㎛. The changes in the mechanical properties of the functionalized polyolefin films on UV irradiation were examined. In addition, the adhesive strengths of the multi-layer aluminum sheets were measured. |
