제목 | Synthesis of Manganese Oxide Using Ni Additive for Li –ion Batteries |
초록 | Graphite materials are currently used as some of the anode materials for rechargeable lithium ion batteries. However, as anode material for LIBs, graphite is limited by its low theoretical specific capacity of 372 mAhg−1 and limited rate capability Recently, the nano-sized transition-metal oxides are proposed as a class of new anode materials for lithium ion batteries. The electrodes that are made up nanoparticles of manganese oxides show high electrochemical capacities great capacity retention, and high recharging rates However, a poor decomposition of Li2O at the first charge can be regarded as the cause of high initial irreversible capacity. Ni has the catalytic activity to facilitate Li2O decomposition and enhance the initial coulombic efficiency of manganese oxide. In this study, Meso-NiMnO3 was synthesized using KIT-6 as template and characterized using XRD, Nitrogen sorption technique, SEM and electrochemical techniques. |
