제목 Surface Plasmon Induced Broadband Photodetectors based on Ag Decorated VO2 Nanostructures
초록 To overcome the limit of conventional Si-based photodetectors, correlated materials have been extensively researched due to their fascinating physical properties. Among the correlated materials, vanadium dioxide (VO2) is a strong candidate for future optoelectronics due to metal-insulator transition and low band gap energy. Although VO2 has the biggest potential, it has problems to be applied in optoelectronics due to easy recombination and poor photoconductivity.  
Here we report surface plasmon induced MIT driven broadband photodetector with Ag decorated VO2 nanostructures operating in room temperature. The Ag decorated VO2 nanostructures show ultrafast photoresponse and recovery less than 0.05 seconds. Moreover, the photodetector can detect wide range of wavelength. We consider that surface plasmon from Ag decoration, and structural effect play critical role in the broadband photodetector. Ag decorated VO2 nanostructures propose the ultrahigh fast performance broadband photodetector.
