제목 Surface modification of silica nanoparticle for nanocomposite-enameled wires
초록 An enameled wire is used for electrical equipments such as motor, inverter, and transformer, etc. The nanocomposite enameled wire where inorganic nanoparticles are dispersed in the cross-linked polymer skin layer is known to exhibit higher heat resistance, partial discharge resistance, and breakdown voltage. Direct dispersion process with surface-modified nanoparticles in varnish as a commercial method have not developed yet. In this work, interactions between silica nanoparticles and nanoparticle-matrix can be controlled by chemical modification using silanes. Varnishes used are polyurethane, polyester, polyesterimide, and polyamideimide. Dispersibility of silica in the varnish were confirmed by measuring optical transparency and viscosity and, after cross-linking, SEM, DSC, and TGA analysis.
