제목 Skin Cell-derived Nanovesicles with an Biolipid-based Surfactant for Treatment of Paticulate Matter-induced Skin Irritation
초록 Recent studies on transdermal carrier for anti-pollution have shown ways to only prevent particulate matter (PM) by electrostatic repulsion. For fundamental treatment of PM-induced skin irritation, we propose a keratinocyte-derived immunomodulating nanovesicle containing Mannosylerythritol lipids(MELs)-based surfactant that has potent anti-inflammatory effects with improved biocompatibilty. We fabricated skin cell-derived nanovesicles through cell extrusion process and the nanovesicles showed anti-inflammatory effect by itself. In addition, MEL-PEG enhanced the regulation of inflammatory response by phosphorylation of JNK and production of pro-inflammatory cytokines such as IL-1β, IL-6, TNF-α, which is demonstrated by western blot and protein quantification in PM-induced skin and TNF-α induced HaCaT cells.
