제목 | Synthesis of Poly(4-vinylpyridine) by Various Late Transition Metal Catalysts and its Application as a ligand of Various Metal Complexes |
초록 | Polymerization of ethylene and α-olefin with metallocene catalyst have been studied extensively. The metallocene catalysts can polymerize many kinds of monomer including polar vinyl monomers such as MMA and 4-inylpyridine(4VP) etc. In case of polymerization of 4VP monomers with transition metal Ni (acac)2 in combination with MAO was investigated. Bidentate Ni (Ⅱ) complex and Fe (Ⅱ), Co (Ⅱ) complexes were found to catalyze polymerization of polar monomers due to a low oxophilicity of the catalyst active sites. But, there is no study on the polymerization of 4VP using late transition metal complexes. We have investigated the polymerization of 4VP with late transition metal catalysts containing various imine ligands of different steric bulkiness to study the effect of temperature and steric hindrance on the aryl group on the polymerization. Also we’ve tried a variety of application to produce various metal complexes by using the poly(4VP) as a ligand. The characterizations of these polymer and synthesized metal complexes were carried out by using NMR, DSC, FTIR and PL. |
