The study on the mechanical and frictional properties of PET/ Nylon/ Clay nanocomposites |
초록 |
PET(polyethyleneterephthalate)/ Nylon6,6/ Clay nanocomposites with different amount of various clays have been prepared by means of melt mixing using twin extruder. Clays used in this study were pristine MMT(PM) and having organic modifier OMMT(15A, 25A) that were purchased from Southen Clay Products, Inc (SCP). The frictional properties of the nanocomposites were investigated by pin on disk type wear tester. The mechanical properties were examined using Universial Testing Machine (UTM). The state of dispersion was characterized by SEM. |
