제목 Biodegradable nanoporous microsphere by RAFT polymerization
초록 Nanoporous microsphere based on polycarprolactone(PCL) was synthesized using photodegradable polymethylvinylketone(PMVK) and used for drug delivery system. In this study, PCL based triblock copolymer was synthesized by RAFT polymerization followed by the fabrication of microsphere by emulsion method. Nonoporous microsphere were prepared by UV-irradiation with the microsphere. In order to polymerize by RAFT method, PCL based macro-CTA(chain transfer agent) was first synthesized by reacting carboxylic acid-terminated CTA with PCL, and used for the synthesis of PMVK-PCL-PMVK triblock copolymer. The morphology of the microsphere before and after UV irradiation were confirmed by SEM and TEM images and the drug release behavior of the microspheres were evaluated by HPLC. PCL based nanoporous microsphere could find potential application for biomaterials such as drug delivery system.
