제목 Biodegradable nanoporous microsphere based on polycarprolactone
초록 Nanoporous microsphere based on polycarprolactone(PCL) was synthesized using photodegradable polymethylvinylketone(PMVK) and used for drug delivery system. In this study, PCL based triblock copolymer was synthesized by RAFT polymerization followed by the fabrication of microsphere by emulsion method. Nanoporous microsphere were prepared by photodegradation of PMVK using UV light. In order to polymerize by RAFT method, PCL based macro-CTA(chain transfer agent) was first synthesized by reacting carboxylic acid-terminated CTA and PCL, and used for the synthesis of block copolymer with MVK. The morphology of the microsphere before and after UV irradiation were confirmed by SEM and TEM images and local anesthetic release behavior of the microspheres were evaluated by HPLC. PCL based nanoporous microsphere could find potential application for biomaterials such as drug delivery system.
