제목 Nanoporous microsphere using PMVK-b-PCL-b-PMVK triblock copolymer via RAFT polymerization
초록 Nanoporous microsphere based on polycarprolactone(PCL) have been synthesized using photodegradable poly(methyl vinyl ketone) and used for drug delivery system. In this study, triblock copolymer(PMVK-b-PCL-b-PMVK) were synthesized by RAFT polymerization followed by the fabrication of microsphere by emulsion method. The microspheres were conducted for photolysis and drug release behavior. In order to RAFT polymerization, PCL based macro-CTA(chain transfer agent) was synthesized by reacting carboxylic-terminated CTA with PCL, and used to synthesize the triblock copolymer. The morphology of the microsphere before and after UV irradiation were confirmed by SEM and TEM images, and the drug release behavior of the microspheres were evaluated by HPLC. Triblock copolymer and its microsphere could find potential application for biomaterials such as drug delivery system.
