제목 Developing the Multi-detection Biosensor of Alzheimer’s Disease based on Rayleigh scattering with colorimetric assay
초록 Alzheimer’s disease (AD) is a neurodegenerative disease associated with the loss of nerve cell in the brain and 6th leading cause of death in 2014. To diagnose AD on early pathological stage, many studies focus on the blood-based diagnostic test which is easy to obtain the sample and reflects a change of biomarkers from CSF. Among the rich sources in blood, Amyloid beta, Tau protein and 24(s)-hydroxycholesterol, which are associated with key mechanism of AD pathology occuring in the brain, are able to be supportive early screening and diagnostic tools. Here, we represent the multi-detection biosensor for those markers based on Rayleigh scattering and colorimetric assay depended on plasmonic properties of AuNPs. Also, we suggest the method of pre-treatment with chaotropic agent which interfere the binding between biomarkers and other plasma protein to increase the detection limit. This would be the first platform for detection AD biomarkers in blood to diagnose directly in the future.
