제목 | Evaluation of Osteogenesis of Photo-immobilized BMP-2 using Azido-phenyl Gelatin on a collagen sheet Using Rat Calvarial Defect Model |
초록 | The collagen, as a natural polymer, has good biocompatibility, easily degraded into physiologically compatible product and is suitable for interaction with cells. Therefore, large variety collagen formulations has received much attention in medical and tissue engineering filed. As a preliminary study, we photo-immobilize the BMP-2 on a collagen sheet with an UV-light reactive azidophenly gelatin (Az-gel), and determine the optimal density of Az-gel and UV treatment time. The purpose of this study is to confirm the usefulness of photo reactive Az-gel on collagen sheet for the BMP-2 as a carrier in the rat calvarial defect animal model.
