제목 Photoelectrochemical Hydrogen Production using p-Si Wire Arrays and NiMoZn Heterojunction Photocathodes
초록 The slow transfer of charge carriers from light-absorbing photoelectrodes to the electrolyte is a key challenge to developing efficient photoelectrochemical energy conversion for water splitting. Many efforts for immobilization of proper electrocatalyst on photoelectrodes have been devoted to accelerating charge carrier kinetics. Here we report the applicability of electrocatalyst NiMoZn particles to free standing silicon nanowire array for solar hydrogen production. The electrodeposition of NiMoZn particles on Si nanowire arrays increases the electrochemical conductivity and contributes to the favorable positive shift of flat band potential at the outermost interface.
