A Facile Preparation and Optical Properties of Polymethylmethacrylate Nanospheres Coated with CdS Quantum Dots |

Recently, semiconductor quantum dots have attracted widespread attention because of their unique properties. The quantum dots and polymer hosts can provide a long-term stability to the quantum dots. In this work, CdS/polymethylmethacrylate nano-composites were prepared by surfactant-free polymerization with a various pickering emulsifier and their optical characteristics were examined. The CdS/polymethylmethacrylate nano-composites had successfully synthesized and that samples were made a comparison between polymethylmethacrylate and polystyrene hosts. |
