Prepared and Application of carboxymethyl chitosan(CH6-OH position)-g- Poly(Ethylene imine) for Gene Delivery Carrier |

Carboxymethyl chitosan(CMCh) was prepared by chemical reaction with mono-chloroacetic acid to low molecular weight water soluble chitosan(LMWSC) of C6-OH (O-Carboxymethyl chitosan) group to apply as gene and drug carrier. In this study, we conjugated O-Carboxymethylation Chitosan(OCMCh) and with high gene expression efficiency Poly(Ethylene imine), whether it was possible the application of gene delivery. The physicochemical characterisitc of OCMCh-PEI was investigated by FT-IR, 1H-NMR. Particle size distribution of the OCMCh-PEI was determined using dynamic light scattering technique. According the MTT assay of the OCMCh-PEI cytoxicity were measured. Gel electrophoresis of the OCMCh-PEI was confirmed that complex the DNA. |
