제목 Ultra low monol polyols produced by ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide catalyzed by various double metal cyanide complexes.
초록 Double metal cyanide (DMC) complexes based on Zn3[Co(CN)6]2 are effective catalysts for the ring-opening polymerization of propylene oxide. A series of double metal cyanide (DMC) complex catalysts were prepared in two different methods by using polypropylene glycol, polytetramethylene ether glycol, EO-PO-EO copolymer, and hyperbranched glycerols as an additional complex ligands. Various catalysts prepared by changing the complexing and co-complexing agents were characterized by elemental analysis, ICP-MS, XRD, XPS and IR spectroscopy. The complexing agent and co-complexing agent were found essential to make the catalyst active. The DMC catalysts produced polyether polyols with ultralow unsaturation level (0.00250.01021meq./g), high molecularweight (5546 - 6282 g/mol), narrow molecular weight distribution (1.221.27), and low viscosity (666-950 cP).
