제목 Exergy Analysis of Irreversibility Associated with a Rotary Air-preheater in Thermal Power Plant
초록 The hot gas exchanges heat to the cold air and mixed with the air leakage through the sealing system in the rotary air preheater, then will result in the irreversibility or exergy destruction. In the present paper, we address briefly a link between the thermal parameter of rotary air preheater as well as energy, irreversible entropy generation, exergy and efficiency of the thermal power plant. The purpose is to demonstrate the importance of using exergy to analyze the minimization of the irreversibility losses of the rotary air preheater in thermal power plant. The effects of thermal parameters on the exergy efficiency and on efficiency of the thermal power plant are then examined and recommendations are made for the selection of the most appropriate parameters.
