제목 Microstructural Analysis of Environment-Friendly, Novel Regenerated Cellulose Fiber
초록 Wide angle X-diffraction (WAXD), small angle X-ray scattering (SAXS) and temperature modulated differential scanning calorimetry (TM-DSC) were performed to investigate the polymorphic behavior of regenerated cellulose enVix fiber, newly developed by SK Chemicals. It offers many environmental advantages over other conventional regenerated fibers because it dose not emit toxic materials such as carbon disulfide and heavy metal ions. WAXD data obtained from enVix fibers indicated that there existed a significant amount of amorphous phase in the its crystalline phase consisted of cellulose Ⅱ and Ⅳ. The relative amount of cellulose II in the crystalline phase was controlled by several processing variables such as temperature, tension and weight loss.
