제목 Microwave-assisted synthesis of highly luminescent silicon quantum dot from monosaccharides
초록 Semiconductor quantum dots (QDs) has been focused on many studies due to their unique optoelectronic performance such as size-dependent emission wavelength and excellent photoluminescence. Nonetheless, heavy metal-based QDs has instigated environmental problem because of their extremely toxicity. Hence, development of nonmetal-based quantum dots has been received many research interests due to its biocompatible property and eco-friendly including light-emitting displays, photo-catalysis, and even bio-imaging. Herein, blue-emitting Si nanoparticles (SiNPs) were easily formulated using silicon sources together with monosaccharide as organic reducing agents through microwave treatment. Prepared SiNPs were very stable in aqueous media and exhibit highly nontoxic properties for electronic equipment. 2019년 한국교통대의 지원을 받아 수행하였음.
